Dr. Yaser Shaheen has been practicing internationally since 2006, He earned his second DMD degree from University of Illinois/ Chicago in 2015. Dr. Shaheen’s special interests include implant dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, digital dentistry and dental sleep medicine.

Dr. Shaheen has been selected to be one of the few dental counselors with Dental Advisor. He is a Diplomate of American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine. Dr. Yaser Shaheen is known for his professional approach, attention to detail, and warm and caring manner. Dr. Reem Hamade DDS

Dr. Reem Hamade received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree in 2018 from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry. Prior to that, she attended Wayne State University for her undergraduate studies where she majored in Biology and graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology with distinction. Dr. Hamade is licensed in the State of Michigan.
Dr. Hamade provides an approach to her care and treatment that allows her patients to feel at ease during each dental operation. She is very passionate about the treatment she provides and very considerate as to the concerns of each of her patients. Dr. Hamade is thorough and in-depth in her approach to treating patients, and this allows her to give ample time and consideration to each of her patients, providing for a very comfortable experience for everyone.
Dr. Hamade is always continuing her education and expanding her knowledge in the field of dentistry. She has taken many hours of educational courses in cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics. Through her continued education she has become certified in Invisalign and traditional braces. Dr. Hamade is also an active member of the dental community. She is a part of Michigan Dental Association, American Dental Association, and Detroit District Dental Society.

Mariam Hachem is a graduate from Wayne County Community College Dental Hygiene program. As a recent graduate, she brings the office a fresh attitude and passion for her field of work. She’s very professional and committed to her job. Mariam prides herself on her devotion towards her patients. She continues to educate herself to insure that her patients get the best treatment and information. Mariam is bilingual in both English and Arabic. On her time off she enjoys going to the gym, traveling, and spending time with family and friends.

Hygienist Ahmed Alameri

This is Ahmed Alameri. He is one of our dental hygienists strictly working on Saturdays. Ahmed graduated from University of Michigan – Ann Arbor in 2018. His outstanding performance and dedication towards his patients is what Ahmed is known for. His hobbies include swimming and soccer. Ahmed is very dedicated towards his work and is experienced with patients of all ages. We can’t wait for you guys to meet Ahmed as well.

This is Stephanie E. Fisher, eldest of Six Children and born and raised In Wisconsin. Stephanie received her B.S Interdisciplinary and Health Studies from Michigan State University while maintaining a full ride scholarship for swimming. Stephanie then went on to Mott College to receive her Advanced Associate of Science to become a registered Dental Hygienist. She is very excited to see all of the patients and the patients are always very happy with her. We cannot for you to meet her as you will be pleasantly surprised with her.

Our Manager Zainab Yousif

This is Zainab Yousif and she is the manager of this amazing Smile Clinic of Berkley.

She’s been here since 2013 starting as a dental assistant and moving to manager. With Zainab well organization, we are able to handle anything. Her dedication and patience give all of our patients the best experience and allows them to have the best dental treatment ever.

Zainab graduated with a degree in General science and Biology in 2018. Zainab is always up to date with all of her courses such as sleep apnea and certificates for dental radiographer from the Dental Association of America. With all the love she gives to her team, her team appreciates and loves her just as much.

This is Atika Salman, the manager of our office located in Dearborn, Shaheen Dentistry.

Atika has worked since 2012 as she began working as a Dental Assistant. Over the span of a couple years, Atika got promoted to being the manager after Dr. Yaser and the staff noticed her great communication skills and dedication to the team. Through Atika’s perseverance, many patients leave Shaheen Dentistry with a smile on their face, thanking her for her great work.

Atika graduated from Altierus Career Education with a diploma in Dental Assistance. She maintained honors throughout her education and successfully studied to graduate with this degree. Atika also received a certificate of completion for the Dental Radiographer, including sections on cephalometric and panoramic X-rays. She is the back bone for her team and ensures satisfaction for both the patients and her team.
